A consistent optimistic mind-set (the glass is half-full) keeps you feeling inspired, motivated and enthusiastic about achieving your goals, even in the face of difficulty. Some people have an optimistic mind-set for some things some times. However, it is imperative to be optimistic at least ninety-nine-percent of the time. There is a one-percent, 'I'm not perfect' clause. There will be moments - five minutes or less - when one is tired, overwhelmed or sick and one has little reserve to persevere with optimism. Yet, it is critically important to push through the pessimism and see the glass as half-full.
The reason it is critical to have a consistent optimistic mind-set is because the Law of Attraction follows you wherever you go. What you focus on, what you give attention is what you create - attract. If you need to rest, or take a vacation, do so with the intent that you will return with renewed energy and optimism. In the mean time, while you are resting or taking a vacation focus on the now, leave all responsibilities on hold until you return refreshed and renewed.
A good way to enhance an optimistic mind-set is to decide you will see everything with an optimistic outlook in all your endeavors. Simply focus on the positive and affirm that events will continuously shift to ensure a beneficial outcome in all situations. The optimistic outcome might not be exactly as you envisioned. It might be better or simply slightly different. Would it be OK if it was better than you envisioned?
When you encounter obstacles, your optimistic mind-set will provide the determination to move forward to overcome any difficulties. Choosing to keep your sense of optimism strong within you while expanding your plans will enable you to stretch beyond your limits and achieve more than you believed possible. Would it be OK if you achieved more than you believed possible?
There are two kinds of people. Those who continue to do what they are doing expecting different results and those who take action to resolve what is holding them back. Which one are you? Would it be OK if you created a consistent optimistic mind-set to achieve your desires and goals?
This moment is the first moment of the rest of your life. This moment is the moment you can decide to be consistently optimistic.
